We had an incredible time yet again at the Drapers Footwear Awards. We were particularly amazed to see we had received "Highly Commended Status" for the "Team of The Year" category. It's truly a special award to be commended for. Our team come from all walks of life, some have struggled with past life experiences and shown how capable and professional they really are. What an honour it is for us to have this team. We also had nominations for "Best Sustainable Initiative of The Year" (partnered with Dr. Martens) and "Best Marketing Campaign of The Year". We were again amazed to be nominated for the sustainable initiative for a second year in a row, and a new nomination for ourselves of marketing campaign. Huge congratulations to FAIRFAX & FAVOR and Dr. Martens plc for the awards they got to take home from the evening. It was great to catch up, we're looking forward to the future and working with you further!

This has been a difficult post to put together, but only for the most positive reasons. Last week, we had our opening party for our European site in Wormerveer. The response and support we received at this party was overwhelming. Setting up shop in Europe has been no easy feat, and would not have been possible without many of the individuals and representatives that attended. Whether it be advice from people who have ventured to the European market themselves, help in recruiting and giving people opportunities, or setting up logistics, it simply would not have been possible without you all. It was an immensely motivating day for us! Not that he would want to be mentioned, but our managing director Tom Forbes did an exceptional welcome speech to our guests and European team. Also hugely deserving of mention, is our European GM Andrew Jordan, who has set up this operation. He certainly did not have an envious position in all of this, but he has been integral to this new operation. As have all the new team that work with him in Wormerveer. We want to thank you all for your help, for attending and for indulging us with our opening party. P.S The Boot Repair Co. We had a great time at the Future Fashion Factory, such an inspiring day! Our very own Jamie Whitehouse returned to the panel, discussing the challenges vs opportunities within the fashion industry regarding sustainability. The talk will be available online soon via FFF and we urge you all to check out all three panels from the day.

We are delighted to announce that we have THREE nominations at the upcoming Drapers Footwear Awards! We have had an incredibly busy year, and a lot of people have worked incredibly hard to help us grow. So being nominated for "Team of the Year" is very special. To be up for "Best Footwear Marketing Campaign" for our quick repair videos, is also a huge honour. Some of the other nominations in that category are crazy! And last but certainly not least. The "Best Sustainable Initiative of the Year" nomination partnered with Dr. Martens. An award that of course means a great deal to us. To be a part of this with Dr. Martens is difficult to put into words. We're over the moon and very much looking forward to the event. See you there!
