ERM Sustainability Institute’s Post

All companies are learning as they go with the sustainability transformation, so no off-the-shelf blueprint for action exists. The framework in the Catching the Wave report draws on the real perspectives of more than 130 business and sustainability executives. It reflects the best available practical knowledge and experiences of what works for companies in advanced stages of integrating sustainability and how they translate this into commercial success, operational efficiency, and resilience. The framework offers practical guidance in five focus areas: leadership and governance, strategy and planning, progress and commercialization, networks and engagement, and continuity and tenacity. We call these categories: -Face It, -Map It, -Do It, -Shape It, -Connect It. Companies must continuously invest in, revisit, calibrate, and align them. Different companies are at different stages or will choose different entry points. No matter where they begin, however, companies must eventually take and link actions in all five areas to successfully absorb sustainability into their organizational fabric,    Download the Catching the Wave report here: https://lnkd.in/dSrXc6hG #SustainabilityTransformation #Sustainability
