Yesterday I had the honor of joining my colleagues in São Paulo at our sixth annual Google for Brazil event to share our latest AI innovations and investments in the country – as well as to hear from and learn from many Brazilians!   We announced new AI-powered tools and experiences coming to Brazil such as NotebookLM and anti-theft features for Android devices. We also highlighted how we’re using AI to increase the security of our products and help address major societal challenges, from AlphaFold helping over 18,000 Brazilian researchers, to flood forecasting, now in over 80 countries - including Brazil where we are soon expanding coverage to 300 locations in Brazil. And we’re further enabling more people and businesses and partnering with them to benefit from AI’s potential, partnering with many universities in Brazil to give students tools and knowledge to put AI to work for them and society, and unveiling a new AI Academy initiative to build on the work we have been doing to support Brazil’s very vibrant community of startups and entrepreneurs – including those from underrepresented groups via our Black Founders Fund, as well as our collaboration on Ela Pode IA to empower women entrepreneurs. Realizing AI’s opportunities while addressing the challenges will take all of us working together, and it was great to have so many energizing conversations that brought Brazil’s dynamism to life across businesses, entrepreneurs, policymakers, nonprofits, as well as my incredible colleagues in Google Brazil. I learned a lot –  what they are excited about, the challenges and the opportunities, and so much more we can do together. Muito obrigado to my colleagues Fábio Coelho, Lisa Cohen Gevelber, Ricardo J. Fernandes, Royal Hansen, Maia Mau, Bruno Possas and Izabelle Dantas Macedo, Caroline Yap, Claudia Tozetto and many others who also spoke and made Google for Brazil happen, as well as the entire Google team in Brazil for the very warm welcome, incredible energy and the terrific work they are doing. Part-1: Fraudulent activities carried out through advertising using well-known people can be easily prevented. Namely. The social media platform publishes the published ad with the well-known person sign. Those who see the advertisement will understand that the advertisement was made directly by a real person. It can be checked whether the person in the image or video used in the advertisement that comes to the social media platform for control is a real person through artificial intelligence. If the person in the image matches the well-known person sign, that ad is published directly. If it does not match, it is not automatically published and it is thought that another account is carrying out fraudulent activity through a well-known person, and that account is automatically closed. In this way, the names of well-known people are prevented from being used in fraudulent activities, reputation cannot be assassinated, and the social media platform becomes a safer place...

Sundar Pichai , really sorry I have to reach you on this forum. I have been trying to get a proper assistance from your Google Support team in Germany and Ireland! It's not a drastic topic but extremely extremely frustrating one. I have been trying to get a refund for a €500 for my pixel tablet that I returned 4 weeks before. I am being made to run pillar to post by your support team and at times they don't even respond to emails. The frustration is coming from the fact that, this is happening for the second time. All my requests to get me an escalation level above the normal support hierarchy have unfortunately unsuccessful. I hope you can help!! Thanks and sorry again for reaching out here!!! Sundar, if you are interested and PM your email ID I can share the entire email communication with your support team. I assure you there is so much to improve when it comes to user experience and customer satisfaction. Cheers, Anantha

Hi Sudar, I brought a top up card for £20 that it wasn't registered on the system. I provided all the details. I haven't heard anything but a standard reply not registered on system., I replied and I said that I will report this higher if I didn't hear anything after a week.😞 I feel that I have lost my money that others must have done as well. Part-2:... Conducting fraudulent activities on social media platforms by using the faces of well-known people gives the victims the right to file a compensation lawsuit against the social media platform in international courts. It is useful to add the voices of well-known people to this form of protection. Because in the future, fraudulent activities can be carried out via social media, WhatsApp or messenger by imitating the voice recordings of well-known people. With the introduction of artificial intelligence, fraudulent activities can be carried out very easily. In this sense, the account of a well-known person, unique in the world, must really belong to that person. Social media advertisements can be made safe through this reference information, which is unique in the world. Hopefully, social media platforms will solve this problem. #facebook #instagram #youtube #google #linkedin #x
