This Pride Month we want to spotlight two of our LGBTQ+ employee resource groups (ERGs), Georgia Power Company's PRIDE Power and Southern Company Gas' Spectrum (GAS). The two ERGs united as one team in a recent community service project for CHRIS 180. The organization is Georgia's first and largest nonprofit organization that openly celebrates and serves LGBTQ+ youth. We are inspired by the work the 2024 Charlie Sifford Award recipient Steph Curry is doing through his platform Underrated Golf to advance equity, access and opportunity for young golfers. That’s why, we are thrilled to announce our new partnership with UNDERRATED Golf, an organization dedicated to promoting golf among underserved and underrepresented communities – to providing access and resources for young athletes who might otherwise be overlooked – is truly exemplary. Together, we will strive to ensure that more communities can take advantage of the opportunities that golf provides.
