About humanism and pride I’d like to believe that Humanism is a core human principle.   And that it encourages us to celebrate the uniqueness of all individuals in the world.     Because, in our difference, lies beauty.     By Humanism, I mean the concept that all people, and their fundamental needs, are paramount. That no matter one’s sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or other “distinguishing factor,” we all have equal, innate value, as co-citizens of the world.      In the world of business, Humanism is about putting one’s people, or employees, first – and just as importantly, its customers. It’s about a sense of shared responsibility – for each other’s health, safety, and well-being, and that of the planet. It’s also about leadership, walking the talk, and authenticity – valuing and respecting differing perspectives, experiences, and identities, while enabling individuals to be their true and best selves.    When a company is sensitive to all its people, consumers, communities needs and wants, and caters to them, everyone benefits.     In today’s challenging times – where chaos and political turmoil rein in all too many parts of the world – we could all do with a bit more Humanism. A commitment to greater inclusion, kindness, and understanding.    Like love, I believe that Humanism conquers all. And today, and all days of the year, I celebrate the Humanism that underlies the inclusion of our LGBTI+ friends – in all their beautiful diversity.      #PrideMonth #Pride2024 #lovewins #Humanism

There is HOPE indeed as we used to believe in my Danone days - Humanism, Openness, Proximity and Enthusiasm / good to see these values still being supported to date - more than ever all communities and certainly the LGBTQ+ employees need to believe they are welcome to the employer party and warmly invited to dance !

Dear Roberto, I couldn’t agree more with your thoughts on Humanism in the business world and would like to build on the angle of Corporate Responsibility. In my experience, companies that prioritize their employees and customers' well-being are the ones that thrive. Why? Because such an approach not only fosters loyalty and trust but also creates a ripple effect of positivity and productivity. Sincere Humanism should indeed be at the core of every Corporate strategy, ensuring that inclusivity and respect for all become standard (and productive) practice. I really loved your message because it is a timely reminder that : (1) through shared responsibility and authenticity, we can make a significant impact and (2) we should not be afraid of using a lexicon including the powerful words you use in the post making for instance a conclusive parallel between Humanism and Love.
