I have visited some great spaces that do just that. They create the conditions for connection, the often overlooked ingredient of well-designed environments.
I think connection does happen on its own, BUT at a rate of roughly 20x slower than well designed thoughtful and intentional connection. And I wouldn’t recommend taking 20 hours to accomplish something that could be done in 1 😃
