A very long day National Landlord Investment Show in London today being a quiz master in Landlord Mastermind quizzing 3 landlords in Heat 2. Then delivering my talk ‘ Landlords how to survive and thrive in 2024’ and then finishing off with a panel session with Kam Dovedi Gavin Richardson. Our Landlord Action stand was very busy. The take from the day from speaking to landlords and taking questions is landlords are concerned about the election and what will happen. #landlordsareveryadaptable

So what a night last night for our event. 270 Property Professionals coming today, to celebrate our industry, supporting Micky Hazard charity Legend On The Bench, donations still being counted but hopefully we will not be far off £20k. That will pay for many benches to be put up in local parks to support and sign post people feeling really low to reach out and speak to someone . ‘ Someone is always listening’. People do suffer in silence unfortunately. Thank you Micky and Brian Stein for being our Guests of Honour, spending so much time with our amazing attendees, who come back each year. Thank you to everyone that worked at the event for making it the best one we have had in our 9 year history. Big up to Joshua Burnham for organising the training and the great match ups for the fights. And lastly to the boxers you were amazing, without you there is no Rumble with the Agents. Landlord Paul asks Angela Rayner will you ban Section 21 straight away when you come in to power, she says yes, only when we know the court system is working. What does that mean?, How long would that take? What budget is set aside? How long does legislation take? We await to see, but landlords don’t panic, let’s watch and wait. But I suspect many landlords will be serving Section 21 notices on their tenants wanting to beat the ban date.
