Most B2B video quality is crap. Let me explain. The video content that B2B marketers deal with is built around human conversations—webinars, events, podcasts, interviews, etc. But their expertise lies in orchestrating that conversation, not in video production. The end result is good content that looks unappealing because either the speaker's camera sucked, the connection was weak, etc. One great, and not-so-talked-about, recent advancement of Gen AI is the creation of models that restore grainy human faces into HD. This technology is a gamechanger. It enables marketers to level up the quality of their videos because today, in 2024, authentic video no longer means low-quality video. We decided to productize image upscaling models into a video-grade solution so that marketers can make their speakers look great, in HD, without jumping through hoops. You can see the vast improvement in the example below. As this tech matures, HD quality will become tablestakes for B2B marketing and thought leadership video content. Marketers need to start executing on this now because low-quality video is no longer the signal for authentic, relatable content in a world where high-production video has become the norm. PS: Thanks Liza for a wonderful panel last week!
This is awesome! We all have noticed and talked about this issue, but constraints of time, cost, and resources usually mean we just go with the status quo. Great and very smart use/application of GenAI.
I agree Palash Soni quality of the video has a drastic impact on conversion rates and engagement levels. After working with thousands of B2B clients here at Broadcast2World, we have seen conversion rates increase by atleast 30-40% when we take the quality of the videos notch up.
I'm still amazed by the quality difference in the original vs upscaled video 🤩

I agree!

1moI can't get over this technology, especially since I'm guilty of having 💩 video quality.
