NYS Department of Transportation’s Post

A recent crash occurred in Elmira, NY where a motorist hit the side of a NYSDOT vehicle parked in a work zone. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries, but it could have been MUCH worse. Slow down, move over if possible, and stay alert in work zones – lives depend on it!

Each driver must know the techniques to improve the level of attention and observation of the road. You must have the skills to reduce risk, knowing and knowing how to put into practice the safest procedures for driving a car. Do you want to know how?
