I think above all else, we just want stability from government. An end to the chaos and corruption. An end to not knowing what on earth could tank the economy in the next year, or even week! And to start being able to rely again on the every day things of government. Energy, health, education, transport. The slogan needs to be: "Let's make government boring again!" Then we can all focus on running our businesses instead of doomscrolling and peeking at 24 hour news from behind the sofa.

Hate to go all ‘Maslow’ here but what about a functioning NHS, an education system that works (right not privilege) and a transport network that actually allows the country to work?! Maybe these are the areas he may need to look at first… Pretty sure the advertising industry will survive until then.

And what might this government ,focused on economic growth, want from the industry? Ads you can accurately measure, to drive that economy? The end of principal media? Downing Street may well be a two way street under this PM.
