Last Friday, I had the privilege of participating in a thought-provoking panel discussion organized by the The Fridays@4 Society. Our conversation delved deep into the important topic: "Issues Women Face at Work that Men Don't, and How Men Can Be Allies." It was an enlightening experience sharing perspectives and experiences alongside my fellow panelists, Anuja Miner, K. Malaika Walton, CAE, and our excellent moderator Jennifer Baker, MSW, CAE. Each of us brought unique insights to the table, sparking valuable discussions on the challenges women encounter in the workplace and how we all (men and women) can become better allies. From navigating biases to fostering inclusive environments, we explored various aspects that shed light on creating more equitable workplaces. The exchange of ideas was truly enriching, and I believe there's immense value in continuing these conversations in the association sector.
