Washington, DC is a city that beautifully blends historical significance with gradual signals of future change. On our recent trip to DC, we started viewing the area through a fresh perspective. When it comes to health care, DC is typically seen as the epicenter of health care legislation, policy, and advocacy. However, we were exposed to and energized by a growing list of health care innovators that are emerging and driving change in new ways. Our meeting with Mike Desjadon, who traveled from Virginia to meet with us, was particularly enlightening. We discussed how Anomaly is leveraging predictive analytics to improve cost transparency and drive systemic changes in health care. We are looking forward to our next visit to DC.
