I recently joined HHS Secretary Becerra and Congresswoman Grace Meng for an important discussion on the role of language in health care. At Charles B. The staff at Charles B. Wang Community Health Center cared for patients throughout the worst parts of the pandemic and delivered 40,000 vaccines and counting in hard-hit communities. We thank the Mayor for recognizing them yesterday with his proclamation. Many have delayed addressing basic preventative care and mental health in the past year.
