This is my first week as CEO HGSA. For those who do not know, the HGSA is the peak professional body for people working in human genetics and genomics. I will be in this role 4 days a week and will still be working as a clinical genetic counsellor one day a week. It's such an exciting time to be working in the field of human genetics and genomic health. It's 37 days until our Annual Scientific Meeting at the Gold Coast. I'm looking forward to meeting many of our members at this meeting and hearing about latest advances in our field.
