I can't pretend to understand all of this ... because as I am only just catching my breath following the advent of ChatGPT etc . So... hearing that there's more on the way to disrupt and blow my brain? Help! Hard to imagine what an AGI system (artificial general intelligence) will be able to solve in the future. AI solves novel and difficult tasks with human interaction. However... an AGI system will be able to solve problems in many areas, just like a human being - without manual intervention. I can't pretend. It Scares me imagining that a machine might act like a human being ... without manual intervention? Musical chairs at the top continue as Nvidia has overtaken Microsoft in market capitalization, becoming the world’s most valuable company for the first time. It was only last week when the AI bounce catapulted Apple back into the top spot after its slew of AI announcements. The gang of five has crowned its newest member. From crypto to AI, Nvidia has been on quite the trip, which is now up more than nine-fold since the end of 2022. The company now dominates the data center AI chip market with a staggering 80% share. This dominance stems from the surging demand for AI, fueled by tech giants like OpenAI, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta in their race to develop powerful AI models and handle ever-growing workloads.
