In this episode of #TheRetailGrind, we have two great guests; Adam Ifshin of DLC Management Corp. sharing why the future is bright for #openair #shoppingcenters and why DLC remains in strong growth mode as well as the amazing Stephanie Stuckey discussing how she is reviving the classic Stuckey's brand and sharing some fascinating stories. And, as always, Bill and I discuss the #economy and I delve into the Red Lobster bankruptcy and the role that their permanent "all you can eat shrimp" promotion really played in the collapse. It's less #management folly than you think and really just the latest instance in which the once mighty brand had its wealth extracted by its own investors (the previous instance was in 2014 when its previous ownership group cashed in the chain's owned #realestate on 500 owned #stores and turned it into a #renter that struggled to pay its bills).

People that inspired, led, and built the respect and trust of their employees by their dedication to THEM. There are not a lot of people you’d walk through fire for, much less bosses thats what differentiated a leader from a boss.
