“It’s time to look at mushrooms as a serious option to meet the country’s food capability and capacity goals” Mushrooms are rapidly gaining interest, presenting us a great opportunity to briefly introduce the wonderful world of gourmet mushrooms. 🍄 Different from the familiar button mushrooms, gourmet mushrooms are uniquely delicious, nutritious, and add an extra dimension of vibrant colours to your meals! The Pink Oysters are meaty, umami and have flavours likened to bacon or ham. The Lion’s Mane has a crab/lobster-like texture that delivers a mild sweetness. At Fogo Fungi, we are motivated by a genuine love for mushrooms to grow better, fresher, and different mushrooms closer to home.
