A few months ago, I made the decision to transition out of the CEO role and onto fabric's Board of Directors. I am excited about this new phase in my life, but it was definitely not an easy decision.
The journey at a startup is never a straight line. It is a winding road full of ups and downs, twists and turns, but I have loved every part of it. I’m incredibly proud of everything this team has accomplished and the culture we have built at fabric. Over the past three years, we have built the industry-leading modular commerce platform, and launched several new products including fabric OMS, and fabric Marketplace powering over 50 enterprise brands.
The scope of the opportunity to build a transformative, enterprise-grade software platform has never been clearer to me than it is now; and in the spirit of taking a fabric-first approach, as I and everyone at the company always has, it felt like the right time to bring on board a leader with the specific experience in enterprise technology that would be perfectly tailored for this next stage of growth. I know that our amazing team of talented and dedicated employees is committed to our mission and will continue doing great work to realize it.
fabric is in good hands with Wesley Pua leading us into our next chapter as interim CEO and I am looking forward to working with Wesley and our leadership team as a Member of the Board to meet and achieve our bold ambitions.
It was an honor to serve as CEO at fabric alongside an incredible group of investors and board members Alex Bard Tim Guleri Scott Beechuk Ron Shah Robert Kaplan and Sandra Campos.
