Mela has officially passed 10 million in sales!!! In just 2 years since rebrand launch. 🤯 2.5 years ago (sept 21) I took the biggest bet / risk of my life. I decided to put my entire life’s focus, ALL of my money and time into building a beverage company. I had no idea what to expect, where or how to raise capital, no connections and extremely little guidance. All I could focus on was taking one day at a time. Step by step, solve one problem or learn one thing and onto the next. But most importantly follow my gut with every passing day…. NOTHING about this accomplishment could have been done without the INCREDIBLE team & culture that WE have built. The family behind Mela is extraordinary. Putting in late nights, extra hours, and doing whatever it takes to make it all happen. They have become family to me and I cannot state enough how grateful I am. They have put Mela above other priorities in life for a long time and it means the world to have such an incredible team. Investing in beverage is risky, with a high failure rate and a lot of capital is involved in growing a successful one… Our investors who believed in us, thank you endlessly for your trust and belief. And of course…our customers!!! With you purchasing, we have been able to stop 5 million+ plastics bottles from entering the environment. Employee over 18 people, not including consultants we have, so more like 40+. Support over 140 people in Vietnam & support thousands of family owned farms that I’m sure would all say thank you if they could. ❤️ We’ve also had a dozen extra hands in this company helping in too many ways to count, since day one. You know who you are! As I learned from my baseball days… I get 24 hours to celebrate and enjoy this day and moment. Then it’s on to the next goal. 20 million plastic bottles saved, $10M a quarter and bringing more jobs to people who need it. LFG. Brick by brick.
