Happy 4/24/24! In the last 14 years, developers have used Stripe's 4242 test card number nearly 12 *billion* times. While 4/24 has passed, you can still use the 4242 test card with a future expiry date: https://lnkd.in/gcnd5NcS
And incredibly, the test card number 4242 became much easier to remember than the Mastercard 5555.
Very… Fortuitous 😂👊🏻
We've tried to simulate so much payment fraud on that poor 4242 card, but it always has the answer for everything.
A good bunch of those was me. Seeing 42424 being used 12 billion on my birthday feels like a secret birthday nod (24th as well) from the universe. I appreciate that.
Fairly sure I'm responsible for a large portion of those 😅 amazing numbers 👏

I probably used it at least 4242 times myself. Good that you keep it so I don't have to update my shortcuts
I was so hoping as I started reading that it had been used 4,242,424,242,424,242 times, but we've got a way to go yet...
I’ve used this card half a billion times for testing the Wing Delivery app alone
