You can tell a lot about a person from the way they treat others. Usain Bolt, the greatest sprinter of all time, and an absolute legend of a man.
Fastest Man in the world may be the most grounded man in the world. Just think of the pressure of trying to beat your own world record and recognizing and having fun with those around you. Just a class act.
It was a small gesture by Bolt, but one that those people will likely tell their kids about one day.
...da passt der Satz: "mir ist egal ob du den Bigboss DUtzt, mich interessiert viel mehr ob du den Putzmann grüßt"! Danke für diesen tollen Beitrag 👏👏👏
This never gets old. Love it. Someone’s little gesture makes the day for someone else
Small gestures & making people feel seen or heard can make a huge difference to individuals & your customer experirnce. I love this video and use it during Cx training. If he can make time do it literally before a big race, we can all do it. Legend!
The way someone treats others, especially those they don't perceive as having power or importance, reveals a lot about their character. It shows their level of ✅ empathy ✅ respect ✅ overall sense of fairness. A one-time act of kindness or rudeness might not tell the whole story. Look for how someone treats people consistently across different situations.
Just recalled what I regard as his greatest teaching, People are not serious about success, they give up after six months of trying, yet I practised for four years to run just nine seconds. (Not verbatim). And Mike Tyson facing marital challenges with Robina Givens yet preparing for a world title defence against James 'Buster' Douglas, "Whatever happens, I am professional. The job has to be done." He went in there and was knocked out. The true character of a professional, do what has to be done regardless of the odds against you.
It’s also unique to see this given the pressured environment he’s in, he’s running to win a gold medal You can’t pretend in these situations…it shows the mark of the man 👏👏👏

6dIt's good for him, but we all need to remember we're just humans. No matter our talents or differences, we are equals. We should not worship celebrities or athletes or the rich and we should not look down on the average person, the ones who did not achieve stardom or the poor.
