It's really exciting to start seeing product demos becoming the new pitch deck. I had five meetings this week where founder showcased a product demo without a deck. This will become standard and it's a great thing for venture. Why? A product demo eliminates rudimentary investor questions about functionality, UI/UX, and even GTM. It allows an investor to better understand how a founder thinks about customer pain-points, engineering tradeoffs, and the 'product hook' to spark adoption. Most importantly, it shows engineering prowess for technical founders and scrappiness/ingenuity for non-technical founders. Excited for this to evolve.

Q1 2024 has been an intense time for Blue-Sky Thinking. We have done a fair bit... here's some brief updates! We managed to launch Extendr which wasn't even a business idea until mid Feb. We are on the final stages of development for a personal branding tool called todai, which we will look to launch by the end of Q2 - the tool will help your personal branding efforts across social media - more to come on that very soon! We have learnt a hell of a lot about the Unify business - which has basically taken us on a slightly different route to when we first started out. Although we will launch the original concept later in the year, we have a super cool solution coming within the next month or so... keep an eye out for that. Finally, for Blue-Sky Thinking I have taken the decision to narrow in on SaaS solutions rather than go wide with our businesses. We are taking businesses with known user bases, integrating AI to a useful level and releasing customer centric solutions from here on in. This will enable us to use similar frameworks across all businesses to design and build quicker - due to the similar designs and user experiences, we can also make UI and UX changes quicker and ultimately scale at pace. Overall, it's been a great 3 months with a lot of learning and improvements across the board! Looking forward to what's next! For now, I'm going to sign off the Eid holidays. 🔵💭
