Delighted to see the first customer going live on one of the CityFibre Project Gigabit contracts. It’s been a long road getting to here (open market review, public review, soft market testing, pre procurement market engagement, internal governance, ITT, ITT evaluation, contract award, contract signature, mobilisation, surveys and low level design, network build). Finally, customers are starting to benefit from all the work done in the background. Happy Pride Month! 🌈 At Gate One, we’ve been reflecting on what Pride means to us.   My perspective on Pride has shifted since I have become a parent. My husband and I embarked on our adoption journey at the end of 2020 and this summer marks our two-year anniversary together as a family. Despite the constant act of juggling drop offs, pickups, weekends full of (their) social activities, as well as managing our full time careers, we really can’t imagine life any other way.   For our family, Pride is a celebration, with lots of rainbows, face paint, and generally having fun! For my husband and I, Pride helps us connect with other LGBTQ+ families and shows our boys there are other families that look like ours as well as families of different shapes and sizes. We are very proud to be LGBTQ+ parents and our visibility as a family remains important. It may well inspire others from the LGBTQ+ community to consider becoming parents. We are very much looking forward to joining London Pride on Saturday 29th June. Here is a photo of us together at Pride last year.
