Helping 7-figure entrepreneurs create cash flow, save on taxes, and build legacy wealth with mobile home park investments
I was recently asked this question at one of our speaking engagements: What was your #1 takeaway from being a D1 Athlete? This question stuck with me. While there are so many ways I could go with answering this, the biggest thing I ever learned was a term that was shared with me by legendary Mississippi State Coach, Ron Polk. He said to us, “It is in your best interest to focus on preportunity.” Preportunity is the fusion of prepare and opportunity. The idea is simple yet profound – be ready for the opportunities that come your way. That way, when your opportunity DOES come, you don’t let it slip through your fingers. You may be the guy that has always been stuck on the bench, and you might be thinking: Why put in the work when I’m not even going to get the chance to play? But the truth is that you WILL get the chance to play at some point in your career. You just have to decide if you are ready to use that opportunity to the fullest when you DO get the chance. Recently, at Sunrise Capital Investors, we closed a deal that was worth tens of millions of dollars. We would not have been able to even come close to closing had we not been prepared. Exercise preportunity, and suddenly bigger and better things will come your way– you just have to keep letting them take you further and further.
Brian Spear what a pic, what a deal!

6moGreat point. My Dad taught the same thing, but coined it "putting yourself in a position to win." If you are in a position to win, such as pinch hitting with the game on the line ... then you might actually win. Years of preparation lead to wins in the seconds of opportunity.
