Fan Led broadcasting will redefine sports media I loved this clip from the latest SportsPro between Nick Meacham and Jon Cruz from @YouTube. Jon talks about their partnership with creator Casimero in Brazil, who has official rights to co-broadcast international and domestic football matches. People tune in to watch Casimero’s stream when they can easily watch the games elsewhere because “People want to feel a certain level of connection and familiarity”. We’re seeing more sports organisations become bolder in seeking out non-traditional live solutions. But a critical key to success - Don’t stick your broadcast feed straight on Youtube - can you turn it into a community first experience as per the reason why Casimero has been so successful.
