Been maintaining F-15Es for 10 years and I couldn’t be more excited for the continued evolution of the mighty Eagle. Congrats to all those involved! 🦅 #F15EX

I didn’t realize F15’s were still a thing. Even if it has a II after it. Interesting.

The first flight of the F-15EX Eagle II represents a significant milestone in aerospace technology and military capabilities. The United States' investment in this new aircraft demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a strong defense posture and supporting its military forces.

awesome. I love reading about this warplane. why the USAF is divesting of these older types is beyond me. obviously, the stealth bug has infected their thinking, evident by the drone and unmanned combat aircraft coming down the pipe. hope to see more great posts about Boeing and the warhorse who keeps making a case for continued relevancy and dominance in the air.

These are so cool. I love the sound of them in the sky. I wasn't aware that they still exist. Awesome.
