We recently invited our BMW Group Formula Student teams AMZ Racing, Elbflorace, municHMotorsport and TU Wien Racing to this year's Formula Student Test Drive event at the BMW Driving Academy site in Maisach. The test track offers the opportunity to try out all the disciplines that have to be completed later in the competitions and to fine-tune the formula cars they have developed. The teams were supported by mentors from the BMW Group, who were available for professional dialogue, as well as BMW works driver Bruno Spengler, who tested the vehicles and provided valuable feedback. A special highlight this year was the wrapping of the car by municHMotorsport. The design was created in close co-operation with the BMW M Design department. The team went through the regular design process, including various internal reviews and final approval by Head of BMW M Design Michael Scully and members of his team. The day was rounded off for the students with drift training and driving on the circuit under the guidance of Bruno Spengler.
