My parents live in Bolivia and I haven't heard any suggestion from them or from anywhere else that the coup was US-backed, I'd be interested to know your sources for that. And Bolivia severed ties with Israel all the way back at the start of November 2023, so it might be a bit of a stretch to add that information to your post without context as if it was connected to yesterday's attempted coup. Edit: BBC News is reporting the real possibility that this coup wasn't actually genuine, and was instead orchestrated as a political stunt by the current president to present himself as a "hero of democracy". whatever Israel does is a war crime and a crime against humanity.
Not saying it is not a US backed coup. But would appreciate some context and evidence.
