The impact AI is already having today shows that we are only at the beginning of an era of unimaginable innovation. Now, with the advent of generative AI, new possibilities are emerging to tackle healthcare's biggest burdens. But how can we fully leverage this new technology if we are only now seeing the tip of the iceberg? Meet our experts Dr. Marion C. Legler, Sreenu Prakash Sai Jasti and Ankur Sharma who will provide exclusive insights on how to utilize #genAI to accelerate innovation.  📅 Mark your calendars and attend Friday, July 12, 2024 at 4:00 pm CET #FutureofHealthcare

There is also an ethical aspect involved in the use of synthetic images to train a model. How reliable data coming from a "fake" patient would be?

Today EU AI Act has been officially published in the EU’s Official Journal

One of the main problems is workforce readiness. The fear comes from not knowing what AI is. How are you tackling this problem?

While the potential benefits are substantial, it’s important to address ethical considerations such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the need for regulatory frameworks to ensure the safe and equitable use of AI in healthcare. By leveraging the capabilities of generative AI, the healthcare industry can make strides toward a more efficient, personalized, and accessible system, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

In general, AI tools (i.e. Gen AI) is becoming widely available, however, I am asking myself what is done that stakeholders such as healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses etc) can keep up with the pace and ultimately use them and translate it into something valuable for patients? Are there any initiatives that Bayer is working on to support healthcare professionals?

Generative AI can accelerate the drug discovery process by simulating molecular interactions, helping doctors make treatment plans for patients based on genetic profile, lifestyle, and other factors, maximizing the effectiveness of treatments, and minimizing side effects.

AI's ability to bridge skill gaps presents a unique opportunity to level the playing field, giving less-skilled workers the tools they need to succeed. This isn't just about technological advancement; it's about creating a more equitable future.

As a data science student and prior clinical data manager, to me it looks like more of the ML & AI that can transform the clinical trial space (from a CDM standpoint). Ofcourse, GenAI can help the CRAs to get questions about GCP, protocol answered real-time. But howelse, can it help. if you can throw some light on that, I would really appreciate it.
