Is coding going to disappear in three years? Many people seem to illude to that (DevinAI, OpenAI, Stability AI), but I disagree. While LLMs could replace routine SW developments, there are still plenty of nuanced problems that reflect an aspect of outside world in the code that AI simply doesn't have, things like computer vision, firmware development, or even game development, require new math, new hardware knowledge, new artistic intent that AI simply doesn't have. LLMs can definitely accelerate and lower the bar but can't totally replace. In the future, I believe coding will transform into a way we instruct computers, turning programmers into computer instructors the essence will not change though. #future #AI #PyTorch #coding
