Air Arabia Announces New Flights from Sharjah to Vienna Air Arabia (G9) is launching a new route connecting Sharjah (SHJ), UAE to Vienna (VIE), Austria, starting December 20, 2024. This expansion marks a significant development in the airline’s European network, offering four weekly non-stop flights between these vibrant cities. Delta Airbus A320 Makes Emergency Landing at Atlanta Due to Engine Failure On July 8, 2024, Delta Air Lines (DL) flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) operated with Airbus A320 made an emergency landing due to engine failure. Atlanta Airport is a primary hub for Delta as it operates around 800 daily flights. This means that 75 percent of passengers traveling to and from ATL are through Delta. Turkish Airlines Leases 10 Airbus A321neo, Eyes New Routes AerCap Holdings today (July 9, 2024) announced an agreement with Flag carrier Turkish Airlines (TK) to lease ten new Airbus A321neo aircraft. Founded in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Turkish Airlines, a Star Alliance member, now operates a fleet of 457 passenger and cargo aircraft. Etihad to Deploy A350 to Toronto and Goes Daily from Abu Dhabi to Boston Starting October 27, Etihad will increase its nonstop flight service between Boston (BOS) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) from four flights per week to one daily, offering North American corporate and leisure travelers more options and flexibility for trips to the UAE and beyond, including the Gulf region and the Indian subcontinent.
