Celebrating a remarkable evening for #RareDisease researchers!
A special shoutout to Dr. Anthony Anzell, our #CureHHT MVP of the night, and a big thank you to Uplifting Athletes for hosting such an amazing event.
At the Young Investigators Draft 2024, hosted by WWE superstar Tank Ledger, it was almost like we were at the NFL draft but instead of honoring athletes the spotlight was on researchers and advocates, all driven by a shared goal of advancing rare disease research and making a difference!
Dr. Anzell's journey from #HHT patient to dedicated researcher filled the room with hope. Then, to witness him being recognized as the Uplifting Athletes’ draft pick and receiving funding for his groundbreaking HHT research was truly inspiring.
Events like this give us hope for the future of rare disease research and keep us fired up to keep pushing for a Cure!
