Sustainable Marketing Consultant & Visual Storyteller 🌍 I create content that inspires impact.

Did you know 80% of the world’s biodiversity is in the stewardship of 5% of the population? Reflecting on my time attending London Climate Action Week last week. I came away feeling incredibly inspired by the brilliant speakers and amazing people I met. #LCAW hosts a diverse range of events with a focus on finding global solutions to #climatechange. On Thursday I attended day 2 of the Extreme Hangout event at the beautiful Ladbroke Hall. Extreme Hangout is a global community and climate action platform, uniting thought leaders and changemakers to share the best #sustainability practices and highlight actionable solutions that advance climate action - and it did not disappoint! My highlights: An opening talk from special guest Baroness Scotland, Head of The Commonwealth shared powerful insights, emphasising that the impossible can become possible if we work together. Her advice when asked what the greatest thing we can do today to help was simple: “Acknowledge the skills that you have and identify opportunities to make a difference.” Wellness sessions throughout the day to help us slow down and relax from Natalie Munk and her wonderful team from KAYLO. It was an honour to attend an incredibly moving panel session with Amazon Sacred Headwaters highlighting the importance of #Indigenousknowledge in preserving and protecting the #Amazonrainforest. Listening to Olivia Bisa's story, the first female President of the Chapra Nation, gave me shivers. Despite receiving death threats to silence her powerful advocacy, she bravely continues to fight ongoing legal battles for land rights and forest protection of her ancestral land. You can visit their website https://lnkd.in/e6tKKyiq to learn more about their Amazonia 80x25 initiative and show your support by signing their declaration, calling on world leaders to take action to avert the tipping point for Amazonia. It is moments like these that make me grateful for key events like LCAW for providing a platform for these stories to be shared to raise awareness about critical issues and help us join forces to protect the future of our planet. This has given me much to think about as I prepare for my next big project and probably my most challenging to date. Stay tuned for more updates! #LCAWeek2024

Such an moving climate change conference🥹🍀. Motivated me to take action for our planet 🌍 and encourage people around me to do the same. Thx to the conference, I subscribed to the London Wildlife trust🐿️, to support the only charity protecting Wildlife in London. Also, I joined a nonprofit organisation called Sustainbly Muslim inspiring Muslims to serve the environment🫂🌳. The conference was honestly soo inspiring✨!!
