Stitch Club is an after-school program that caters to students who are passionate about
pursuing a career in the fashion industry. The program aims to provide them with essential
sewing and fashion design skills that are necessary to achieve their goals and succeed in the
Industry.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Stitch Club Sponsor will instruct this program for students who aspire to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Stitch Club will teach students how to sew, read patterns, illustrate designs, and educate them about different fabrications. This program is highly beneficial for creative students, as high schools rarely offer fashion design courses. Stitch Club will be held once a week after school at University City High School and will repeat itself every semester with adjustments based on the students' performances and needs.
