As a Real Estate Investment Associate, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of real estate investment activities. You will report directly to the Senior Investment Manager and collaborate closely with the acquisitions, finance, and asset management teams.

As a Real Estate Investment Associate, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of real estate investment activities. This position involves detailed analysis of property markets, investment opportunities, and asset management to ensure optimal performance and alignment with our company's financial goals. You will report directly to the Senior Investment Manager and collaborate closely with the acquisitions, finance, and asset management teams.
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial real estate markets, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Investment Evaluation: Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis for potential investments, including cash flow projections, NPV, and IRR calculations.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes for new acquisitions, including legal, financial, and physical inspections.
- Deal Structuring: Assist in structuring deals and financing arrangements, negotiating terms with sellers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and report on the performance of existing assets, recommending strategies for value enhancement.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and investors on investment performance, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with real estate brokers, property managers, attorneys, and consultants to facilitate investment activities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate investment, banking, or financial analysis. Prior experience in commercial real estate is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, Argus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate and interact with all levels of management and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.
- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of critical thinking under pressure.
- Salary: Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
