Project Surveyor

  • Topographic survey
  • Lidar Scanning
  • Geodetic survey
  • Research of control and boundary monuments necessary to complete survey work
  • Surveying and records search for right-of-way plats, Certified Survey Maps (CSMs) and other surveys.
  • Construction staking

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license, ability to travel, including overnight, if needed
  • Experience working with robotic and GPS field survey equipment
  • Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills a must
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team

Other QualificationsThe following qualifications are not required but would be considered an added benefit:

  • Professional Land Surveying License or ability to obtain in the future
  • Knowledge and expertise with various software packages including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, In-Roads and Trimble Business Center
  • Understanding of the WisDOT transportation design process
  • Experience with WisDOT construction inspection
