Program Director, Citizen Connect

The Program Director is responsible for the daily activities of the Bridge Alliance Education Fund (BAEF) initiative Citizen Connect (“CC”). The CC Program Director will champion the project in compelling, impactful, and creative ways, both within the BAEF team and with member/partner groups and individuals and groups outside the organization. This includes a range of activities, including content strategy, social media management, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building. BAEF is committed to engaging millions of Americans to heal our broken republic - and this position has a critical role in realizing this mission through one of our signature initiatives.

At a high level, we see this CC Program Director working in collaboration with Bridge Alliance Education Fund’s executive team to:

• Keep up to date with and document the work being done by members and partners of Citizen Connect on a weekly basis in a central sharing location for all initiatives to access and amplify.
• Assist members with accessing and using the platform and updating their profiles.
• Manage and maintain updates to all organizational contact data in the BAEF Neon One CRM platform and produce regular reports for the executive team.
• Manage and maintain the Google Analytics account for Citizen Connect and report results regularly to stakeholders.
• Manage and execute Citizen Connect’s content and social media strategy and communicate amplification efforts to members and partners.
• Research opportunities and develop strategies to pursue grants to support the Citizen Connect initiative.

The person who will be a great fit for this position:

• Has a background in social media content creation and amplification strategy.
• Has experience using Google Workspace and programs.
• Is experienced in Google Analytics and reporting to stakeholders on engagement.
• Is comfortable creating social media content.
• Is familiar with the ‘healthy democracy ecosystem’.
• Passionate about taking on toxic polarization and building a healthier democracy.

Ideally, the candidate has experience with specific programs used by the Citizen Connect team, including:

• Neon CRM
• WordPress
• Loomly
• Canva

This position is a full-time, contract position. We are a fully remote team, and interested candidates must have personal access to a laptop or computer and a reliable internet connection.
