Privacy and Governance Analyst # 91447-1

Location: 100% REMOTE

06+ Months contract with possible Extn.

Pay Rate: $28/hr on w2

Essential Functions

• Partners with business units to develop a deep understanding of the business strategy, conducts reviews and risk assessment; develops privacy policies and practices in order to mitigate risk specific to each unit. Leads and guides stakeholders through best practices and regulatory requirements to a results based outcome. 30%

• Responsible for updating all contract language pertinent to the Privacy function. Utilizes data analytics efforts to identify insights, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. Performs all regulatory reporting, researches and implements all mandatory updates and revisions, and distributes reports on a regular basis. Ensures all applicable disclosures are published and available to the enterprise at all times. 2%

• Facilitates investigations as to whether or not a privacy breach has occurred. Conducts inquiries and interviews, researches information sources, and secures all data and information from involved sources. Prepares investigative and outcome reports which include findings, control deficiencies and recommend corrective action. 3%

• Supports privacy program assessments and system reviews of confidentiality & privacy risks. Conducts risk assessment of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud solutions; follow-up on progress of remediation activities.

Reviews technical requirements, vendor solutions, and data protection features of applications and systems utilized. 20%

4 years experience in a privacy, governance, or compliance role required.

familiarity with privacy laws, regulations and industry practices required. Experience in the insurance industry preferred.

Strong verbal communication and listening skills with strong written communication skills.

Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Possesses strong technical aptitude

*****Experience with Quickbase, Radar 1st, and Sharpoint helpful

Education Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent--Required.

Bachelor's degree--Preferred.
