Position Summary
This is a dynamic and challenging position, which crosses all St. Peter's Health Partners (SPHP service lines) and exposes the individual to all levels of the organization! As the Performance Excellence Consultant, you will utilize performance improvement tools, including Lean Thinking, to work with teams on process improvement projects. Position may require daily travel between SPHP sites. Following training and shadowing, it is the expectation that this individual work extremely independently, supporting project teams and deadlines, with minimal managerial oversight.
Position Roles Include
Facilitator: Ability to facilitate and lead complex projects (i.e. kaizen events / process mapping efforts) with multiple departments and reach high agreement on difficult issues. Comfort level with ability to manage tense situations is required.
Coach: Coaching individuals and clinical and administrative teams on A3 projects; motivating teams to be excited to problem solve daily.
Educator: Understanding and passion for performance improvement methodologies and tools. Ability to teach the tools to all levels of the organization, in classroom style or one-on-one situations.
Project Manager: Extremely organized, detail and deadline oriented, supporting the follow-through on projects and juggling multiple projects at once.
What You Will Need
Excellent communication skills and public speaking required; high energy
Professional demeanor at all times
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Surgical Services experience in Nursing required
Experience with data analysis, change management, leading teams and performance improvement tools required (Lean, Six Sigma, Plan-Do-Check-Act, etc.)
Pay Range: $37.60-$56.40
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
