A world class manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at their flagship production facility in NW Alabama due to their continued growth. This role will strategically lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers focused on the operational performance improvement of their assembly engineering department. This is a full time, direct-hire opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day and long-term direction and development of assembly departmental engineering personnel.
Prioritize employee safety and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities and develop solutions/strategies for Lean and Continuous Improvement implementation.
Drive departmental OEE and scrap improvements.
Support new program launch activities.
Train, evaluate, and mentor engineering personnel.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (or similar) required.
8+ years of progressive engineering experience within high-volume manufacturing environment(s).
4+ years of management/leadership experience.
Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement skills.
