Job Overview
This position is responsible for organizing and supervising the installation of integrated residential technology systems. Additionally, this role combines technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver reliable, easy-to-use systems on time and on budget for the company’s clients.
Responsibilities
Terminate cables with required connectors and perform basic testing of cables and equipment
Deliver and install equipment including audio, video, control, network, equipment racks, and other furniture items
Install speakers, screens, shades, TV’s and other A/V and control equipment
Maintain current industry knowledge
Other installation related tasks as required
Qualifications
Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 3 years experience
Experience with Control4 is a plus
Residential and Commercial experience
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Exemplary customer service skills coupled with a positive attitude
A valid Driver’s License and a vehicle for travel to and from job sites
Physical Demands
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 80 lbs
