60%+ of recruiters time goes to pre-screening calls and chasing people down. With an overload of candidates, recruiters need to resort to resume filters which can create a lot of selection bias, especially in the blue collar space. With an overloaded recruiting team, only a select few candidates get to have a conversation about the role. Phone interviews is where AI should focus and it will actually help reduce bias because recruiters can get the full candidate overview and review candidates in their own words vs an outdated resume. AI phone screening can sound scary, but its actually a much better way to get the right people in front of the right roles. #AIHR #AIRecruiting #SHRM23 #SHRMChicago #FutureOfHR #HRTech #RecruitmentAutomation #TalentAcquisition #HR2023 #AIinRecruitment #HiringInnovation #RecruiterLife #CandidateExperience #HRInnovation #WorkforceTech #SmartRecruiting #AIScreening #RecruitmentTrends #HRAutomation #TalentTech

After attending the SHRM Conference in Chicago, it’s clear that AI is not just a trend but a necessity in the HR world. HR leaders are leveraging AI to automate tedious tasks and improve their hiring processes. Tasks like creating job descriptions, reviewing and summarizing resumes, and developing onboarding plans can all be streamlined through AI. But beyond saving a few minutes each week and creating clear messaging, how effectively are those tasks solving your core hiring issues? We've learned that recruiters can spend up to 60 percent of their time calling and pre screening applicants. Isn't this where we should be focusing the automation? Imagine having AI handle initial candidate phone screenings immediately after they apply. This not only saves your recruiter's days instead of minutes each week, but it enhances the candidate experience significantly. Candidates want a process that is quick and clear. Are you maximizing the potential of AI in your hiring processes? #AIHR #AIRecruiting #SHRM24 #SHRMChicago #FutureOfHR #HRTech #RecruitmentAutomation #TalentAcquisition #AIinRecruitment #HiringInnovation #RecruiterLife #CandidateExperience #HRInnovation #WorkforceTech #SmartRecruiting #AIScreening #RecruitmentTrends #HRAutomation #TalentTech

AI is changing hiring on both sides of the market. There will be a lot more spam applies on the applicant side and AI filtering on the ATS side in the future. We aim to skip the increasingly meaningless application stage and jump right to the candidate conversations with AI recruiting phone calls so both sides are invested in the culture fit and role. AI Recruiting: Navigating the New Hiring Landscape LinkedIn has just announced a suite of AI-based tools designed to assist job seekers, signaling another step towards AI becoming more embedded in the hiring landscape. With big recruitment tech companies like LinkedIn getting onboard, it's clear that the influence of AI in hiring is here to stay. But what does this mean for employers? The Growing Challenge for Employers Employers are already grappling with the challenge of sifting through a large volume of job applications. The average candidate already applies to 40+ jobs, and with the advent of AI tools that can write cover letters, create resumes, and even apply for jobs on behalf of candidates, this problem is only going to get worse. Employers will face increasing difficulty in identifying and engaging with the right applicants, which will ultimately lead to a deteriorated job seeker experience and more difficulty filling roles. Strategies for Employers To address these challenges, employers can either grow their recruiting team size which will be cost prohibitive, or they can leverage AI tools for efficiency. Employers will be forced adopt their own AI tools to streamline the hiring process and handle all the inbound applications. These tools can help in various ways, from screening resumes to scheduling interviews to even helping conduct initial screening calls - all with the goal of making the process more efficient and less time-consuming. By integrating AI into their recruitment strategies, employers can maintain a high level of engagement with applicants while managing a larger volume of applications. As AI continues to revolutionize the hiring process, it’s crucial for hiring businesses to evaluate their strategies. Employers must decide whether to invest in expanding their recruiting teams or adopt AI tools that enhance efficiency while ensuring new biases are not introduced. By proactively addressing these challenges, businesses can attract and retain the best talent in an increasingly competitive job market. As more AI job search tools reach the masses, now is the time to consider which strategy aligns best with your organization’s goals and resources. #AIRecruiting #FutureOfHiring #AIInRecruitment #HiringStrategies #RecruitmentChallenges #LinkedInAI

We analyzed over 100,000 job applications, and what we saw surprised us: over 50 percent of applications came in outside of business hours and on weekends. I'm at the TAtech Job Board Forum in DC today. If you want a quick demo of our AI phone screener in action, come find me! It's important to have a recruiting process that allows you to engage candidates instantly and keep your hiring funnel moving, even when you're not in the office. As we roll out our AI screener to some clients, we are seeing a surprising increase in applicant conversions. This is because they are being contacted while the job description is fresh, and they can get all their questions answered instantly. If you're interested in learning more, we'd love to chat.

I've spent my entire career working on hiring tools for the frontline workforce. Here are 3 ways AI can revolutionize your recruiting process today without running into AI biased filtering issues. With one-click apply and the overload of applications today, its virtually impossible to keep all candidates in the loop on your hiring process. Leaving candidates on ice is a quick way to ruin your reputation and lose applicants to your biggest competitors. 1. AI Phone Interviews 24/7 Imagine being able to conduct phone interviews round-the-clock without straining your team. AI-powered phone interviews ensure that candidates can be screened at any time, making your hiring process faster and more efficient. This means no more waiting for schedules to align, allowing you to move quickly on top talent. You can listen to each call and make the decision instead of running into biased AI resume filtering issues. 2. Qualify Candidates Quicker With AI, you can instantly qualify candidates based on predefined criteria on the phone. This rapid assessment helps you identify the most suitable candidates early in the process, reducing the time spent on unsuitable applications and increasing your chances of securing the best fit for your roles. 3. Streamline Information Gathering Have you ever tried to update a resume on a cellphone? Its no wonder even the best blue collar workers can have a sparse resume. AI tools can gather missing background on a candidate if they haven't added all the context to an application. A traditional resume doesn't typically do a frontline candidate justice on their work history and skills. AI autopilots can read resumes and extract key missing details during interviews. AI ensures you have all the necessary information at your fingertips, making it easier to compare candidates and make informed hiring decisions. If you’re interested in reaching candidates before your competitors, check out Classet’s AI Recruiting Autopilot. Our technology ensures you stay ahead in the race for top talent by engaging and qualifying candidates instantly upon application. #Recruiting #AI #HRTech #Innovation #Classet #AIRecruiting #AIResumeFiltering

“We typically have to go through 20 applicants for our technician jobs just to find one that meets our requirements AND is responsive to outreach” This is something I hear daily from teams looking to hire within the skilled trades. A few questions come to mind when thinking about why this is the case: 🎯 Are you targeting applicants through the right channels or just using oversaturated job boards? 📝 Are your minimum requirements for the role clear and concise? ⚡ Knowing that candidates are likely to apply to a handful of different roles (and also busy in the field), are you beating your competition on response times? If you are recruiting within the skilled trades and want to improve om any of the above, I’d love to chat! #skilledtrades #recruitment #hvac #plumbing #electrical #handyman
