Immediate Response Clinician
ChildSavers is offering a full-time career opportunity within our Immediate Response Program.
We are seeking Bilingual (Spanish/English) Master’s-level clinicians who are currently licensed (or license-eligible) mental health professionals to deliver services to our children and families. Spanish-fluent clinicians are highly encouraged to apply, as this position will require the individual to play a role interfacing with the Spanish-speaking community and assisting with the overall enhancement of the cultural competencies of our organization.
This individual will be a part of our ChildSavers Mental Health Services team, which offers services including: short-term trauma-focused therapy, community-based prevention work and immediate response services. Specialized modalities within these service areas include: brief trauma-focused therapy, de-escalation, art therapy, sand tray therapy, play therapy, attachment work, case management and CBT. Our community-based prevention work is conducted through collaborations with community partners and school districts. Immediate Response clinicians will participate in a monthly on-call rotation, providing in-person and/or over-the-phone psychological first aid support to children and families who contact our 24/7 crisis line after a recent experience or disclosure of trauma. This position operates under the direction of the Immediate Response Program Supervisor and Mental Health Services Program Manager.
Required Qualifications
$50,000-$58,000 / annually

Required Qualifications
- Completion of Master’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or licensure-track related human services field with experience working with children from a Trauma-Informed Care Perspective.
- Must be eligible for supervision towards licensure (i.e., Supervisee in Social Work or Resident in Counseling)
- Must hold a valid Commonwealth of VA Driver’s License and be insurable to drive a company vehicle (if needed)
- Must have current CPR/First Aid Certification or agree to complete within time frame provided by immediate supervisor
- Other requirements as assigned by DMAS and/or licensure standards
