Much of our work is made possible through partnership and generous investments from community foundations, such as the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation (RMHF). RMHF recently interviewed our CEO, L. Robert Bolling, as a part of their partner spotlight to highlight the work we've done over the last 100 years, and where we are heading for another 100. Thank you to RMHF for your continued support!

🥳 Congratulations to Ms. Pam!! The Virginia Health Care Foundation has named Pamela Jackson a Virginia Mental Health Champion for 2024! This award honors individuals who go above and beyond to improve the mental health and wellbeing for those we serve. Pam joined our agency in 1998 playing a critical role in our agency. She is the first person our clients and families interact with when they enter our doors. Her presence radiates kindness, empathy, and inclusivity--instantly putting visitors at ease and imparting a sense of belonging and community. Our success as a mental health and child development services team is dependent on her warmth, hospitality, and reliability to get any job done. Pam is truly deserving of recognition for over 25 years of dedicated hard work. Thank you, Ms. Pam!! ❤
Yesterday, VHCF hosted Cheers for Champions! We welcomed state leaders to honor the hard work of behavioral health organizations and other health care safety net professionals throughout the Commonwealth for their expertise, success, and dedication to help uninsured and medically underserved Virginians obtain the health care they need. Virginia’s Secretary of Health and Human Resources John Littel, introduced and recognized VHCF’s six Mental Health Champions, who went above & beyond to improve the mental health of their organizations and/or their patients/clients, communities.
