The Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, assembling, and repairing golf cars.
Responsibilities And Duties
Repair and Assemble Golf Cars
Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
Respond to work orders in a timely fashion.
Inspect golf cars, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on golf cars.
Keep accurate records of all work performed on carts, post parts installed to work.
Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and other systems.
Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the needed parts.
Communicate directly with the Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Adhere to company rules and regulations.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
