We're seeking a strategic and dynamic operator who can elevate our project management practices across the organization. This role calls for an experienced leader with a proven ability to drive optimal performance from large cross-functional teams, develop and execute revenue-driving strategies, and ensure seamless alignment with company values and goals.
What You'll Do
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Executive Team on the development of company policies and strategic plans and align all projects with the company's goals and objectives.
Project Oversight: Oversee the successful delivery of large-scale enterprise SaaS projects in the government sector, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing project management team. Execute department deliverables through the supervision and direction of project teams to achieve company and customer goals. Provide mentorship and career development guidance for all direct reports.
Resource Planning: Anticipate and budget for strategic resource planning with full accountability for personnel decisions within the project team.
Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee the quality assurance process and ensure all solutions meet rigorous standards before client review.
Technical Leadership: Guide technical teams in developing and implementing system customizations and enhancements.
Testing and Validation: Develop and oversee functional and user acceptance testing in accordance with all contract specifications.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, methodologies, and tools.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders and key clients. Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and satisfied.
What You'll Bring
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience with a focus on project management and/or business operations and at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Operational experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
Demonstrated success in strategic planning and aligning projects with business goals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage and satisfy high-level stakeholder expectations.
Experience with resource planning and departmental personnel decisions.
Proven experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in a remote environment.
Exceptional leadership skills with a solid track record of enabling the upskilling and career advancement of direct reports
Ability to drive collaboration across the organization and engage with senior leaders to align project outcomes with business strategies.
