We are seeking an inspiring Design Director to lead our team of senior brand designers. As our design leader, you will play a crucial part in shaping the creative direction and future agency.

You're an excellent designer, but your real superpower is your strategic mindset and ability to lead a team of brand designers and contribute to their growth. You embrace bold, disruptive thinking and work hard to craft results everyone can be proud of.
5+ years of experience in a design leadership role at a notable agency that specializes in brand identity (Note: Attic Salt does not offer marketing or advertising campaigns so those skills are not directly relevant to our business model)
Proven leadership experience guiding design teams through a rebrand for a nationally recognized brand
Keen ability to translate business strategy into compelling visual storytelling and brand design systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders
A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in brand identity development. Note: portfolios centered around art direction for Advertising and Campaigns are irrelevant to our business model.

📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and inspire the design team in the development and execution of visual identity systems
Participate in and lead discovery activities to extract critical client insights
Oversee the entire design process, from concept to completion, including the implementation of visual identity systems across all brand touchpoints
Collaborate with the entire creative team, including strategist, copywriter, and project manager, to deliver cohesive solutions that exceed client expectations
Present design concepts to clients, articulating the vision and strategy behind the work
Mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth
