ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a dynamic, detail oriented, person with a passion for problem solving, innovating and growing. As the Commercial Payment Solutions, Manager, you will be relied on to support the day-to-day processing and enablement of payments. This includes, but is not limited to, relationship management of payment related vendors, documentation of processes as well as research and evaluation of global payment strategies, maintenance and process enhancement.

You will be a data driven individual who can balance between written research and pulling stats and KPIs from our data warehouse. Along with previous work within the payment landscape, the successful candidate will be a quick learner with superior attention to detail, outstanding problem solving skills, and an ability to identify process improvements in a fast paced and team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Risk and Payments, you will:

  • Serve as the point of contact for all payment related vendors
  • Research, identify and make recommendations related to the enhancement of our global method of payments landscape
  • Collaborate and liaise across teams to ensure successful payment enablement for all lines of business across Plusgrade
  • Understand the technical requirements of enabling global payment methods within our storefronts as well as requirements from our growing number of PSPs
  • Work closely with a variety of teams to support the delivery of new business where payments will be enabled, taking into account regional recommendations and requirements across the globe
  • Support the launch of new partners/products through the review of staging and production test transactions
  • Monitor payment performance to analyze and identify ways to reduce any friction between our customers and completion of their successful transactions
  • Develop and maintain costing analysis for all PSPs across the organization
  • Ensure appropriate KYC documentation is up to date and completed across all PSPs
  • Build trust and create relationships as a payments expert and go-to specialist by understanding and meeting needs quickly, professionally and accurately



YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

  • Knowledge of and 3 or more years of experience in the merchant services, payment processing or payments industry is required
  • Data analysis skills through Excel, lookups, formulas, pivot tables, charting, data tables, and other analytics tools
  • Proven documentation skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills, and an experienced presenter
  • Understands the value of teamwork and a collaborative environment
  • Tech savvy and fast learner
  • Strong problem solving skills - looking at cause and effect
  • Knowledge of Jira is an asset
