Board Member

Our client is seeking a highly technical and experienced individual to join their Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will possess their PhD with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: battery materials (including anode, cathode, or electrode), cell development, or battery recycling.

As a Technical Board Member, you will provide strategic guidance, technical insights, and industry knowledge to support and steer the company’s innovation and growth in battery technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the strategic direction of the company, ensuring alignment with technological advancements and market demands in battery technology.
• Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical insights and guidance on battery materials, cell development, and recycling processes, ensuring the company stays at the cutting edge of the industry.
• Innovation Support: Advise on R&D initiatives, product development, and technological innovation to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
• Industry Networking: Leverage industry connections to foster partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities for growth and innovation.

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in battery technology, specifically in battery materials (anode, cathode, electrode), cell development, or battery recycling.
• Proven track record of innovation and leadership in the battery industry.
• Experience in a senior leadership or advisory role within a technology-driven organization.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of battery chemistry, materials science, and electrochemical processes.
• Expertise in the development and commercialization of battery technologies.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices and advancements in battery recycling.
• Well-established network within the battery technology and energy storage industry.
