Assistant Vice President Imaging Services

A highly reputable Level I trauma center in West Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Vice President of Imaging Services. As the Assistant Vice President of Imaging Services, you will oversee the operational, budgetary, and personnel activities of the Imaging Department. Your leadership will drive the development of services, policies, and procedures, and you will coordinate department programs with other hospital departments to meet overall goals and objectives. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage and inspire a dedicated team while ensuring top-notch patient care and service delivery. As the Administrative Director Imaging Services you will oversee all day to day operations across 14 sites with responsibility for more than 110 FTEs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct the operational, budgetary, and personnel activities of the Imaging Department.
  • Develop services, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate department programs and services with other hospital departments to achieve overall goals.
  • Manage and supervise department staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Oversee the implementation of new imaging technologies and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five years of experience in Imaging Procedures such as Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, CT Scan, MRI, or Ultrasound.
    • Seven years of management experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Licensures/Certification:
    • Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) if certified in radiologic technology.
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Education:
    • Associate's degree in Applied Sciences from an accredited school of Radiology.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Science, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
    • Master’s Degree in a related field.
